More and more often, poverty hides under ceiling, hides in the bedroom, in the middle of too fragile walls, as fragile as those who live in limbo, in the daily struggle for survival, the struggle for trifles like taking a bath, have a hot meal or place to sleep.

These are the stories of the new "homeless" of Oporto, one of the poorest regions of Portugal, with one of the highest unemployment rates and the highest number of people supported by the Social Insertion Income. These are images that show what is happening all over the country, a shameful poverty that shames a country grappling with its increasingly poor.
